The first day in England was spent travelling to France and back. We leased a Nissan Pathfinder and it was easiest to travel to Calais to pick it up. A long day but the weather was great. The Renault lady had no idea how to use the remote key so had inserted it into the ignition and then got the key stuck. Fortunately we had been through this voyage of discovery 2 years ago. The number plates were also not fixed - this of course had an upside as it meant I spent the first 2 days not too concerned about speed cameras.
